My world is tilted a little to the left

LOOK OUT SYBILS SISTER IS IN THE HOUSE!
I stayed up half of the night last night trying to download and learn Photoshop c4....It downloaded after an hour and a half last night. This morning I uninstalled it. I would need 2 years of training to figure that stuff out. Anyway I am a bit on the grouchy side from my little all night party with photoshop. I am telling hubby who is still home from his encounter with the dentist, that I don't know what to do with my boys. Why are they so slovenly? I wish I had a girl (I know I know, I haven't had any sleep). I'm almost in tears because of the crap all over the house...their clothes thrown where ever they drop off of their stinky bods. They leave towels all over the bathroom and Buddha poo's on them..icky. And you have heard my tales of their bedrooms. You get the idea right? I'm fed up.
My little sister calls about the time I am ready to take off running from my dirty house.
I don't know if I ever mentioned her adoption of 4 kids within 2 years. She and her husband tried for 10 years or so to have babies of their own. She finally decided to become a foster parent and wound up adopting 4 of the 6 kids that she fostered. Pretty cool story right? She calls this morning to tell me that my BIL had to move out of the house...he did something inappropriate. Uhhhmmm what? I have called her back twice in the last hour to ask her again what she just told me.
What?
Apparently it was something that is not one but two felonies, BUT it's not bad enough for her to divorce him.
What?
She is going to work it out. They are getting a lawyer to help them get him back in her house.
What?
I am so confused. She started to tell me what it was that he did and I told her I didn't want to know. I am going to have to make ANOTHER phone call and ask because I am confused as shit.
This is the sister with her shit together and she wants to save her marriage to him, and the two girls that he did something inappropriate with, want him to come home...they are not afraid of him. What?
OK you get that I am confused right? Here's what I started out to tell you. My kids' rooms are a minuscule drop in the bucket compared to the world around me. Dirty smirty...that's my excuse for not cleaning up after my two male pigs today.

Hey you! I'm so glad you have a new blog and are staying on track. :) How happy I was to see your comment on my blog.

You should see my house right now - perfection. I took the entire 16 days I was off work over winter break to clean and sanitize my home. With Mr. laid off he's been keeping stuff up during the day and the boys now are called on every little infraction they make: backpacks dropped at the door, socks laid where ever they land, dirty dishes left out...etc, etc. I can't tell you how good it feels.

Your sister is off her nutter. She could end up losing her kids over this. If this was my Mr. I'd dump him faster than a hot coal burning my hand.

I hope it isn't what we are all thinking...God I pray to God it isn't!
I know when I feel sorry for myself...and I have been worried about monet etc. I think...there are so many with other more fringtening problems...I am blessed no matter what and I will just deal with my own stuuf! Your sister and her family are in my prayers. I am sorry!

Yes, I hope it's not the obvious. If it's bad enough to boot him out, it's likely bad enough to send him down the road...

Sorry about your dirty boys. My youngest girl is far from clean. And then there's the Brute Squad and all their toys! They would have way to much fun with Buddha if I sent them their for flood relief!

Photoshop is challenging. I am just now starting to have a level of comfort with it.

I'm liking your new header!

OMG--this situation w/ your sister is scary. I hope she comes to her senses!

I have Photoshop Elements--I think it's way easier--maybe you should check it out.

Photoshop intimidates me....

I only have 1 small boy and my house sounds like that....but I know how you feel...it can get overwhelming. Hang in there, MamaH!

The thing with your sister.....OMG! I agree with the others....I hope its not what we all think it is. If it is....you need to talk sense to her...you may be the only one that can.

And did you or Sybil do the header? It looks great!

My house is a disaster with 2 girls, so gender is not the problem! Soemtimes, I look at the lounge room and just have a panic attack thinking of where to start to clean it.

Not good news about your sister.. hope she sorts it properly, for everyones sake.

I'm with ya on the stinky boy crap! I have 3 of them, the oldest is 20 (yes, he is back home) and it does get a little better...but not much. That story about your sister is very disturbing, hoping its not what I think it is. ick. how old are the girls?
